The Path

The Arcadian Path Philosophy

Arcadia is an imaginary place of perfect pastoral beauty with a comfortable life for everyone. The land of plenty. The place we would all like to live.

The Arcadian Path provides a vision of a better world. A vision of Arcadia for all. It is a dream about world peace and human enlightenment. A dream about how life and human society should be. It may be imperfect, but it is a start.

We need to move on from our primitive human past and work toward universal brotherhood. Let’s end the aggression and learn to live together in peace. Let a common dream guide us to the world we want.

The Arcadian Path philosophy provides a vision of a society that protects and supports the human rights of all, a society where every person can live a happy productive life. It shows us a better way to treat ourselves and each other.

The three foundations of the Arcadian Path are the Goals of Civilization, the Principle of Humanity, and Scientific Spirituality.

The Goals of Civilization

Freedom – All people have the freedom to live their lives as they wish as long as they do not hurt other people. People are more creative and productive when freedom is unrestricted.

Harmony – No one lives in fear of another. All people of all cultures, ages, races, countries, religions, sexes or sexual orientations, physical characteristics (and…?) are respected equally. Diversity is not only respected but is appreciated. Harmony sets people free to appreciate life.

Value – All people have value and can contribute to making the world a better place.

Opportunity – All people have opportunities for improving their lives and living conditions. Without opportunity, people have no hope, no dreams, no inspiration, their creativity is lost.

Harmony with Nature – The healthy natural environment is what allows us to live.

Education – Everyone has access to good education uncorrupted by government, religion, or private interests. Education gives each person the knowledge and ability that they need to succeed in pursuing their version of happiness.

Peace – Governments are at peace with each other and their primary work is to improve the lives of their citizens.

Justice – Laws are just and applied equally to all people. People cannot live in harmony if treated differently.

The Principle of Humanity

The first responsibility of every human being is to love themselves and be happy. The second responsibility is to love other people and to wish them happiness.

Scientific Spirituality

Modern medicine can cure almost all physical problems with the human body. Scientific Spirituality uses science to cure the mind. The latest scientific information from the fields of human evolutionary development, psychology, religion, biology, sociology, biochemistry, and neuroscience, are united with a database of psychoanalytic research.

Scientific Spirituality helps overcome the crippling mental effects of our human history. Everyone needs to find a way to move on from their traumatic personal and family histories, a way to adjust their mind to be the best they can be for themselves.

Science shows us the true beauty of the universe and what it means to be human, reveals our complex evolutionary nature, and explains our complicated emotions. Scientific Spirituality shows us how to feel the beauty of being human.
